Best snorkeling hotel?
 

I would love some info. on which hotel has the very best snorkeling right off the hotel beach. Thanks.

Probably tough for anyone to tell you which is the best, but I will tell you that The Princeville on Kauai was great right at the beach just a few steps from the pool.

A fellow passenger on a snorkeling excursion I took in the FL Keys took her honeymoon in Cozumel and said the snprkeling was fantastic just a few yards offshore from the hotel - son't know if that's still the case - this was 8-10 years ago.

Two places come to mind-both on Maui. First, the Sheraton at Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach. But my favorite is the Kapalua Bay Hotel on Kapalua Bay Beach. Not only great snorkeling,right off the beach, but what a beach! Its been voted in some years as the best beach in the world. Have fun.

I agree that "best" is hard to define. There is outstanding snorkeling at the beach right off the Princeville and and the Kapalua Bay Hotel. Both choices are great. We also enjoyed the Ritz at Kapalua, and walked to Honolua Bay nearby for incredible views of marine life. <BR>Enjoy!

The Hilton Waikoloa (on the Big Island) has a lagoon on its property where you can snorkel and see great fish and sea turtles.
