Best site for pricing air fares?
HELLO!
We don't fly much but are looking to visit my grandfather in October in Florida. How should I go about getting the best fare? I've heard of Kayak but is there another site you would recommend? TIA! Cindy |
itasoftware.com is the best: month long searches, has the ability to weed out long layovers, airport changes, Terminal changes, tight connections. Sorts by price, airline, number of stops, layover city, total trip time, and of course price. Much better than Kayak or any others, IMHO.

Many thanks, Bardo! - I'll check it out!
Cheers! Cindy |
I use kayak and then go to the airlines' website to book. It works for me. I did get a better deal, just once, on travelocity with a flight and car deal for less than just the flight. Odd but true.

Oops - if you can use southwest, you usually have to go through the southwest website. Check them on Tuesdays after midnight for best fares, and if you can fly on Tuesday, Wed or Saturday, you'll get the best deals. (true of most airlines)
