Best site for last minute flights?
 

My law school spring break is next week and it looks like it's going to be too cold to camp anywhere within driving distance.

We're located in Philadelphia and are interested in flying somewhere warm to hot. Are there any good sites for last minute flights? I can't seem to find anything (which may mean there's nothing to find).

Most of the airlines offer last minute airfare on Tuesday or Wednesday for travel the following weekend. Generally you have to fly out on Saturday and return Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the airline rules.

You can usually find them at www.bestfares.com among other places. The link for bestfares listing this week is:

Also, some of the low-cost airlines (Independence, Jet Blue, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, AirTran, etc.) do not charge extra for flights booked last minute, so check their web sites to see what they offer for where you want to go.

Smarterliving.com has good last-minute ideas too.

Usairways posts esavers every Wednesday. It would seem to be a good option from PHL.

Leaving Friday and returning next Weds, I see deals to many warm cities on site59.com

American has super saver fares this weekend, and next.

A friend of mine has used www.lastminutetravel.com for a trip to Hawaii leaving the next day from philly and got a good deal. I found plenty of flights and hotels for Miami -- it will be high 70's there next week...
