best route from Portland to Oregon coast?? last minute!
Ok...need opinion on how to get out to the coast. Making the trek down to San Francisco....originally just assumed I would head to Cannon Beach (which I have been to) and go from there. Now looking at the map it seems like a better option to either go towards Tillamook on the 6 or head down the 99W through McMinnville to Lincoln City. Which is prettier and a better drive on a Monday? Thanks!! Any tips of good places to stop for the night along the coast would be helpful too, this is a very do it as it happens trip...
