Best route between Palm Springs and Omak, WA
 
We will be travelling between Palm Springs and Omak, Wa on November 30th. Hoping to find the best route as I'm certain we will encounter snow. Thinking via US-95 N or via US-93 N and I-84 W

I'd think I-5 as far as Weed and then 97 NE from there would be an easier/more comfortable drive than through rural / eastern Nevada

If it was me . . . I'd take I-5 even farther north all the way to Portland (or even Seattle) then over to Omak. Taking 1-5 to Portland is maybe only 100 miles farther than
