Best Road Trip Planner

Hi all,

Looking to do a solo road trip from Washington to Buffalo, and would like to plot the road trip with a great free on-line tool. Know of any?

I'd love one that has features like Streets & Trips where you can set options like start & end times, break intervals, speed of travel (mi/hr), etc., as well as "thumb tacking" stops. Appreciate you sharing any finds you have!

Enjoy-la!

I think Mapquest has that feature:

Google maps has some of the features you are looking for.

If you are a AAA member, they have their trip tix online, which I find to be a little more accurate than Mapquest. I travel about 50% of the time for work and also use this to plot my course....

I still prefer www.freetrip.com. It shows both time and mileage to go and already driven plus hotels along the way in your price range.

Thx a mint for the posts PAMom1 and ronkala.

We are AAA members and didn't even think to look there!

I wasn't aware of freetrip.com and looks like if I use their site and google I should be able to map it all out with accoms, etc. and just estimate my own drive times for when to stop.

This board is great!

Enjoy-la!
