Best restaurants in Ogunquit?

We breezed thru town last summer, just for an afternoon, and happened upon The Front Porch. I can't imagine that there's a better restaurant than that in town, but if there is, please let me know. We're going back next week, just for a few days. Thanks.

Wow! Just looked up all of your recommendations, & I'm glad I asked. Clearly we'll have to schedule a follow-up trip, because I can't get over how fabulous all of your restaurants appear to be. Thanks.

Another of our favorites is the Kennebunkport Inn, especially for the piano bar, and On the Marsh, also in Kennebunkport.

Our favorite time to visit the area is late May through the end of June or September (for the much more favorable lodging rates, fewer crowds, less traffic, but still very nice weather).

The best is 'ARROWS" but not inexpensive. Beautuful grounds where you can see where they grow their vegetables. They also have a bistro in the old location of the Hurricans resto overlooking the ocean
noew called, I believe the American bistro. MC You can google for hours.

A great spot, right on the ocean off Perkins Cove, is Jackie's Too.

It's been years but we still remember our very pleasant easy walk down Marginal Way (beautiful)to Perkins Cove where we had the best lobster ever. http://www.uncommondays.com/states/m...arginalway.htm

Brown's Ice Cream near Nubble Lighthouse in York, and "Sundaes at the Beach" on route 1 just north of Ogunquit.
Maine and homemade ice cream go together like vanilla and hot fudge!
