Best restaurants in Maui?
I'm going to Hawaii at the end of the month (October) and would love some restaurant recommendations for Maui and the surrounding area. I will travel for a great and unique meal!
I'd love authentic Hawaiin places and/or anything that is a stand out.
Any place with a really great atmosphere (ocean views, beautiful outdoor seating) would be great as well.

Anywhere in Lahania is lovely! It has many resturants on the beach with live music, fun crowds. Definitely my favorite area.

Number one best experience and food is at Mama's Fish House. Then also Feast At Lele, Hula Grill, Dukes, Barefoot Bar, and Sansei in Kapalua.

Duke's was a nice evening if you plan for sunset accordingly. Food was quite good but not one of the superlative meals of my life.


If looking for cheap, casual eats while out doing some souvenir shopping, give the Aloha Mixed Plate a try.

Merrimen's is beautiful. I love the atmosphere, the gorgeous views, the food and the Mai Tai's were the best ever1!

Lelani's on the Beach is very nice too.
