By far the best restaurant in the Flathead Valley is Cafe Max in Kalispell. I'm not sure if they are open Christmas eve. Just tried to call and they are closed for remodeling until Nov.19. Should you decide on Cafe Max and IF they are open Christmas eve , I would make reservationa asap. Phone 406 755 7687.

We had dinner recently at the Tupelo Grill in town and it was excellent. Some of the dishes have a cajun/creole style since the chef came from that region. The Grouse Mountain Lodge outside of town has a restaurant that is supposed to be very good also.
