Best Rental Car Rates HNL
 

I know an old question just out of the loop on this one even though I live here and have brought people several times.

too bad they don't have kamaaina. we use dollar mostly for their rates, but sometimes bother relatives there since they do the same to me.

When I was checking this out, I was finding by far the best rates through Costco Avis or Costco Thrifty. Their rates were way below anything showing on Hotwire or any of the discount codes I could find -- including my usual standby Dollar.

Have rented from several companies no problem, until the last trip with Dollar. With a confirmed reservation, it took us 2 1/2 hours to get our car. Literally. They wanted to keep us another hour until our car class was ready, but I put my foot down and they upgraded us.

Then, they gave us wrong directions!
