Best Reasonable Restaurant
 

We're going to be staying at the Paris hotel the last week of September. Any food recomendations that are good and won't break the wallet.

That depends on how much is in your wallet. Care to explain what you want to spend for two people for dinner with drinks? $50, $100, $150?

We just got back from Las Vegas yesterday. We ate at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Saturday night (suggested by this forum!). The prices were reasonable (entrees low to mid 20's) and offered geat food and service. Ask for an outdoor table to view the Bellagio fountains. It was supposedly 100 degrees at the time but we were still comfortable sitting outside. Indoor seating was freezing! Browsing through other menus, Olives at the Bellagio had a very nice menu with similar pricing. Have fun-the Paris is beautiful!

Yes it is a mini-chain but I think the food at P.F. Chang's is fairly good. There is one just next door at the Aladdin. The prices are usually reasonable.

In the Forum Shops Spago turns out decent Italian food.

If you're looking for slightly more expensive and better quality, I think Olive's at Bellagio is fairly good.

For steak, we've eaten at Prime several times but I think the steak I had at Gallagher's in NYNY was far better than what I had on my last trip to Prime. The price was significantly less.

Good point Patrick. For example, I don't consider entres that are low to mid 20's "reasonable??" But to each his own. I would say the buffet at Paris is fairly reasonable.

BigJim, The Paris dinner buffet was $24.95 pp- comparable to the restaurant we chose....still not cheap. The menu however did look delicious and quite
varied....definitely worth it for the big appetites. For a more romantic dining experience without walking away feeling "bloated", I'd go with a sit down restaurant like the ones mentioned.

That's true. The buffet isn't cheap either, but for me, it's a better choice than for example, Mon Ami Gabi because I'm getting more bang (food) for my buck at the buffet. :)
But Mon Ami Gabi is definitely a good place to eat too.

I'm of the Quality over Quantity school. The best buffet is still serving grub nowhere near the quality of a better restaurant like Mon Ami Gabi.

For a good sit-down place, I think entrée prices in the mid-20s are incredibly reasonable. Fix in Bellagio is a bit pricier than MAG, but it's also a wonderful place and I would consider it fairly priced.

For a higher class of all-you-can-choke-down cuisine, try Samba at Mirage. It's a Brazilian style churrascaria, and their rodízio gives you the whole Parade of Brazilian Gaucho Meat show. I think it was about $32 a head, but then again we added in a caipirinha or two and it all goes a bit blurry....
