Best public transport to Philadelphia museum of Art?
Hi All,
Interested in going to see the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the day. I'm planning on taking the greyhound/Peter Pan bus and then go on from there.
What's the best and quickest way to get from the bus terminal to the museum? What public transportation do you suggest and about how long would it take?
Also, if I end up staying past 6pm in the museum area, what transportation then (Phlash is only till 6pm).
Thanks, looking forward to your feedback!

If you are up to it, it is about a 25 minute walk to the Museum from the Bus.
you can walk along Ben Franklin Parkway and enjoy seeing the buildings around you as you walk over.
By public transit it is a 10 minute city bus ride from Market Street(2 blocks from the bus). septa.org will have info and maybe someone else can give you the exact bus# and exactly where to wait. There are also buses to bring you back.

The bus you want is the #38. You can get on it at 12th and Market, and it goes right to the Art Museum. Check this URL:
