Best Pool in Arizona?

We would like to travel to Arizona in the next few weeks. We have two children. We enjoy very nice hotels...but with kids we are even more interested in a FUN pool. Are there any hotels in that area that are very nice with a GREAT pool (slides etc.)?

I have stayed at both the Pointe South Mountain resort and Pointe Tapatio and have great pools for kids. South Mountain has a few water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a kids pool, and then regualr pools throughout the resort. My kids loved that place! I know the Hyatt and Fairmont have great pools as well. We had chosen the first two resorts because the rooms were suites. Have fun!

we recently stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in north Phoenix. We were once at Pointe South Mountain and the kids loved the pool area with slides, etc. However, the resort was NOT calming to us due to the ruckus from the pool. At the jw marriott, the pool area has waterfalls, five pools, a lazy river, and a medium-sized water slide. Also much more relaxing.

I also highly recommend the JW Marriott Desert Ridge. There is a nice lazy river and small slide, which is set apart from the other pools. The best of both worlds, if you ask me.

Enjoy!

I would recommend the pool at the Phoenician. It's a beautiful resort with a slide and lots of pool toys (volleyball/basketball). There is also croquet on the lawn just above the pool area. Another fun pool is at the Westin, Kierland Commons. There's a lazy river there but not the extensive slides like the Pointe resorts.

The main pool at the Arizona Biltomore. It is massive and has a really cool slide. There are something like 11 pools on property.

These are great reports and suggestions. Thank you!

Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt...I want to say the name starts with a "G"?

The Hyatt's grounds and pool are beautiful. You are thinking of 'Gainey Ranch' which is where the Hyatt is located. You can't go wrong there or any of the other resorts mentioned in this thread...

Ditto the Hyatt Gainey Ranch for kids.
