Best pool area in Maui
Is the best pool area at the Hyatt, Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton?

Grand Wailea is better than the 3 you mentioned. Of the above I think the Four Seasons is the most enjoyable.
I also vote hands down/no comparrison on the Grand Wailea having the best pool. It is a stunning with the best slides and we so enjoyed our stay there three years in a row. For a quiet pretty pool, the Intercontinental fit the bill. The Grand Wailea has such wonderful rooms that you pay thru the nose for but...

The Grand Wailea has the greatest pool!

The Grand Wailea has the BEST pool hands down. Visit their website at www.GrandWailea.com.

While the Grand Wailea does have the best pool facilities, you have listed 3 resorts located in 3 distinctly different areas of Maui. Consideration should also be given to what region of the island you want to stay at, its "microclimate" and its proximity to restaurants and other activities. Wailea is usually the sunniest and driest, Kapalua (Ritz Carlton) is cloudier/wetter (relatively), and Kaanapali (Hyatt) somewhere in between. As for proximity to the best restaurants (very important in my travel considerations) I prefer staying at the Hyatt (and dining relatively nearby at "Roys", "Hula Grill", "Sansei" and other restaurants close to the Kaanapali resort area. The pool at the Hyatt Regency is by far the best of the Kaanapali resorts. Enjoy your trip!
