I just got back from a week in Maui and stayed at the Aston Maui Hill. It was absolutely amazing. It borders Wailea, so you are away from the congested north Kihei. It was a one bedroom, 2 bath with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 2 lanais, one that connected the kitchen and the bedroom and the other with a stunning view of Molokai, Lanai and Molokolini. One wall in the enormous living room was all glass doors that opened to this view. It was reasonably priced for all you get. There is a lot of vegetation on the grounds too. I think you should definitely check it out.

You are about a 5-10 minute walk to the Kamaole Beach III park, with nice beach , picnic areas, playground, large lawn area. The front of Maui Hill property has a large staircase that walks down to the sidewalk. Then you are about 5 minutes from Kam III. Really not far at all.

Has anyone ever heard of the Maui Kamaole condo in Kihei? Would you recommend it? I am trying to plan a wedding for next May and will need about 12 condos - prefer 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. I want a relatively upmarket condo probably in Kihei where we can all go back and forth to each other's lanai and entertain. Thanks!!

Maui Kamaoele is adjacent to Maui Hill and near Mana Kai. It is a nice property. About 5 years ago I toured one of their units as they were heavily selling. I thought the units were very nice and the furnishings were tropical and a bit more upscale than some condos I have stayed at. There is a pool but like Maui Hill they are across the street from the water and a short walk from Kamaole Beach park III. I think you would be fine with this property.
