Best Places on Maui
 

We are a couple in our late twenties, travelling to Maui in June/July. We are planning on doing the drive to Hana, but also want to know the best spots for restaurants and nightlife on Maui - not so much individual places, but mainly the best city to stay to enjoy the nightlife and do other "tourist-type" activities. Thanks.

I would say Lahaina would give you the most nightlife on Maui. You could either stay in or near Lahaina such as in Kaanapali.

Lahaina! Love that town. Loads of shops, galleries, restaurants, bars, clubs. Several shows (Feast of Lele and U'lalena). great place to walk around. it's fun day or night imo.

As mentioned above, I would include a luau. We went to the Old Lahaina Luau, and it was wonderful.
