I tried South Padre Island last years...really crowded, although scenery great...
This is totally a personal opinion with input from many friends who still have relatives in Mexico..mainland Mexico is Not the place to go..lots of internal strife.

No spring training in Tucson anymore, teams were "stolen" by Phoenix money, perks.

Is the tax rate in NSB lower than other places? Tell me MUCH more.
