best places for a wedding in Charlotte, NC

Does anyone have a suggestion for a wedding reception location in Charlotte, North Carolina? Any advice would be appreciated.

There are a ton of options, so it would be helpful if you told us what type of setting you're looking for (hotel ballroom, outdoor, rural?)and how many people you're looking to have at the reception.

Some of the country clubs might be available for non members.

Is the wedding in Charlotte too?

I am not very familiar with Charlotte at all, but a close friend lived at Ballantyne and it was absolutely beautiful! I would think that would be a gorgeous place for a wedding reception.

I second the VanLandingham. I attended a wedding there in July, and it's really beautiful. For a reception, you can use many parts of the house and grounds, which gives a lot of options for how you set up.
