jokaca,
If you are looking for one of the small properties above, you better be flexible and hustle!
I've stayed at the Sky Ridge Inn twice, but under previous owners. Lovely place and breakfast was great when I was there. Can't say about the present owners. They have had it for about 3 yrs, I think.
Torrey School House B&B looks nice and is in a very cool, old sandstone historical building. Not wild about the location myself, but you can walk to everything worth walking to in Torrey from there.
Austin's Chuckwagon motel is a nice motel type place with a pool, laundry, big trees and wonderful owners. General store on property too.
Haven't stayed at the Muley Twist. I believe it's in Teasdale a bit west of Torrey.
I have stayed at the Torrey Pines B&B in one of their detached "cottages". It was very nice and extremely clean with awesome views. The decorating was interesting....owner is a lovely Austrian woman & husband. Her homemade muffins are delicious and they are very welcoming. They also have B&B rooms in the main house, lower level also with great views.
Hope this helps!

We stayed at Austin's Chuckwagon. Nothin great, but certainly adequate place to sleep. Their Deli in the store is pretty good place. The schoolhouse has always sounded interesting to me.
Homemade Pies in The Gifford House in Cap Reef is worth checking out. These are from the fruit picked in the orchard. Get there early as they sell out by mid-day.

We stayed at Austin's Chuckwagon in a cabin last week and thought it was a great place to stay. It was a 2 bedroom cabin with TV viewing area and kitchen. A few steps away was the general store, restaurant and laundry.
