Sounds lovely. You have any addresses you'd like to share?

647 Adluh is cute. I'll pay attention when we walk in the morning.

Thanks! I'll take a look.

Sweet house! I'm looking for new(ish) construction, I think. Do you know anything about Cassidy Court?

I'll know more once I've visited; just trying to get an idea of the lay of the land and the cost of things. The perfect house for us is actually available in the H.D. It's just priced wrong at 2.5 million. Think they're willing to negotiate? ;)

Yeah, my perfect spot is up on Bull's Bay. Oh well.

Cassidy Court is close by. It's as new as it gets around here, except for some people who came into the neighborhood, tore down the original home, chopped down live oaks and built some lotline to lotline
honker. Boo.

i think it's worth a look.

Yikes. That sounds brutal.

Thanks again for your feedback. It's really appreciated.

What an interesting thread. Lots of good links and ideas and resources. I am in the Tampa Bay area now and really like it here but the summers are making me crazy. I am looking for a Plan B.

ahotpoet: Feel free to share your ideas! Your summer solution may be my winter solution!
