Best Oahu Guide-Book or Website

What guide books and/or websites do you all recommend for Oahu? We will probably do 3-4 nights on Oahu before/after 10 nights on Kauai in May.
Also, what is our absolutely "do not miss" things to do or places to eat on Oahu?

The people who wrote the "blue" guidebooks for the other islands have one coming out for Oahu titled "Oahu revealed" in Oct. I would get that one. I have all the others and plan to bring them with me to Hawaii in Sept.

You can preorder the Oahu Revealed through their web site:

Driving and Discovering Oahu is a good one, plenty of detailed maps and driving directions, beach/facility comparison charts as well as bus route directions on how to get to just about any place on Oahu. More of a guidebook vs. "review" book and lots of beautiful images of Oahu.

Try tripadvisor.com. As far as seting. On Waikiki, I wouldn't miss Dukes. It's right next door to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The restaurant opens to the beach. Great seafood without being too expensive (~$15 to $24). Rent a car and drive the Island. We stopped at Hanauma Bay for snorking (a must), continued around the north side to the North Shore and Waimea. If you like hamburgers, stop at Kua Aina in Waimea. There was more avocado than hamburger on my burger. The Dole Plantation was our next stop and then on to Waikiki where we were staying. You can do this in one day. Have fun!

Sorry, eating, not seting. Can't type.

Best guidebook for Hawaii: Frommers Hawaii. They never disappoint, IMO.

For the island of Oahu - "Frommer's Honolulu, Waikiki & Oahu".

A lot of people seem to like "Driving and Discovering Hawaii: Oahu" by Richard Sullivan.

I'll be trying it out myself when I'm there in a couple of weeks!
