Best New Orleans hotel pool?

We'll be in New Orleans June 15-21 with our two sons (10 & 12). We'll just be doing some sightseeing but would like to stay at a hotel with a nice outdoor pool and pool area. We are flexible with location.

We've all been to NO before so we know what to expect. Last time we stayed at the Hilton Riverside and the Omni Royal Crescent -- both were very nice and we'd consider either again. Just wondering what else is out there but it's tough to find good pool info on the hotel websites.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

I stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans in the French Quarter and they have a roof top pool. Haven't stayed at any other hotels there, so can't compare pools. But I thought it was nice with views and all.

try the Royal Sonesta in the heart of the French Quarter.

We really enjoyed the outdoor rooftop pool at the Windsor Court - the hotel was quite nice too - and very family friendly, considering how "upscale" it is.

Agree with MP - Stayed at Windsor Court recently and will definitely stay there again. Outstanding rooms, service, location. It was too cold to swim but pool area looked lovely.

The Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Place has a nice large outdoor pool that's 25 stories above ground. Great to sightsee AND swim!
