Kansas City jazz, Kansas City BBQ, Kansas City Blues, Wesport, shopping, Nelson Art Gallery (world class!),<BR>uh, Kansas City.

Louisville (if the horses are running), Kelley's Island, Pittsburgh or Columbus (stay in German Village).

SA-I think you mean Keeneland in Lexington don't you?? Keeneland runs in October and Lexington is a great place to spend a fall weekend. Another thought is a state park, many have lodging. French Lick in Indiana, Mohican, Salt Fork in Ohio etc. South Bass Island in Ohio is a great place, lots of nice b&b's and the weather is usually pretty good through October.
