I think I went through one too many Conde Nast Traveler magazines that listed San Francisco as the best city in the USA and even the world for the umpteenth time and I was shamed into going! I mean here I am taking these journeys to faraway lands and I haven't even been to San Francisco, except as a child??? The fact that I am staying at arguably the nicest place in arguably the nicest city in the world makes it that much more special.
In the end I am just a travel diva! (wanted to use another word but it would not have been appropriate for this board).
