Best in Boca Raton
 

In your opinion, what is the #1 finest restuarant in Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale or Miami? Looking for the few that might truly yield a memorable experience...Thanks, JohnnyB.

Well, I don't know if it's the finest, but we love the food and atmosphere at the River House in Ft Lauderdale. Get a table overlooking the waterway. I think the website is http://www.ftlauderdaleriverhouse.com/.I think there's one in Palm Beach too.

My favorite in Ft. Lauderdale is Mark's Las Olas. In Miami (Coral Gables) I think it would be hard to top Norman's. In Boca -- although I haven't been for awhile, isn't La Vielle Maison still tops? It was sure memorable a few years ago.

fort lauderdale: I really prefer this restaurant, even though it is in the Marriott resort, it is spectacular:

fort lauderdale: Marks Las Olas is still one of the best, I just feel he's spread a bit thin with all his various restaurant...definitely an executive chef these days.

My Jupiter rec is a seafood dive but I can't see coming to Florida and not trying at least one of those. HG

Would have agreed with La Vielle Maison, BUT, Lance Picot closed it last spring, I think.

Could recommend Sundy House in Delray,especially Sunday brunch. Like Jonny V's in Ft. L better than Marks.

Liked River House so much we had Rehearsal Dinner there.
