Best Hotel in Seward, $$$ no object

If cost were not an issue, where is the nicest place to stay in Seward?

We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel. I don't know how it rates comparatively speaking but we liked it and would stay there again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Request a room overlooking the water, not the parking lot. The place is right on the small boat harbor...in the morning we could see eagles sitting on the masts of the boats...very scenic!

I have only stayed at the Edgewater and it is nice. The prices in the summer are not cheap. It is near the water and probably the best location of them all. The hotel itself though is ok. The bonus is that if you want to workout, the gym a couple of doors down lets you workout free if your staying there. I think location is what makes this hotel stand out from the crowd, not so much the hotel itself.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express with a room overlooking the water with a balcony. You'll want to stare out the window forever. We arrived around 5:30pm and the fog was not in yet, we could see all the beautiful mountains across the harbor. When we woke up next morning, the mountains just disappear behind the fog. You will not believe there's mountains unless you saw them the day before. We took the before and after picture on the balcony and it was like magic.
