Best high speed internet service in south Florida
My step Dad (in Boca) is still in the dark ages using dialup. Would like to get him hooked up to something faster. They have cable tv in the house but not sure if this is a good option. Any advice? I was going to do AOL hi speed but heard there were problems.

If his house has cable TV, see if the same company offers cable internet too. If the cable company is Brighthouse, the answer is probably "yes" and there may be a small price reduction by ordering both services through the same company.

Comcast is our cable company in Naples, and they have high speed internet. But I use Earthlink high speed through my phone company Embarq (formerly Sprint). I'm happy with that service. Since our cable goes out frequently and the service from Comcast for cable is horrible, I can't imagine trying to deal with them for internet problems.
