best golf course in Hawaii? Discounts?
 

What are the best (not the hardest) and most scenic golf courses on the Islands of Maui, Oahu, and Kauai? Are there any secrets to getting somewhat of a discount to play the better courses, i.e coupons or staying in certain hotels? Thanks in advance for your info.

Max,<BR><BR>I played all 3 Wailea courses on Maui. The Gold and Emerald have the best views. Both are challenging, but have several sets of tees. The Gold is host to this week's Senior Skins game. Check it out on ABC, I'm sure you will be impressed

The best course-scenic and playability-is located on Maui. It is the Plantation Course at Kapalua. There is no close second. Believe me, I know.

On Kauai, the Prince course at Princeville is the best, but Poipu Bay is a close second. CHeck for lower &quot;twilight rates&quot; for tee times after 2 pm or so.

Played both Poipu Bay and Kapalua Plantation this past summer ... both are first rate. Book in advance and get the first twilight time of the afternoon to get a lower rate and hopefully get in all 18
