Best Disneyworld packages?

What is the most economical Disneyworld package (excluding airfare)? Book hotel and tickets separately? Together? With car or separately? We will most likely stay in the Disney Value resorts for a week. We hope to see other sights in the Orlando area as well. Thank you!

And is it less expensive to book directly with Disney than it is to go elsewhere? Thanks.

Disney is offering some kind of deal that includes meals now. I booked with www.dreamsunlimited.com the last time I went. They specialize in Disney world and also keep looking for the lowest rates. They also will book your dining PS for you.

Thanks. I'll check that website out. Have to see if the dining addition will work for us since we have kids who get full after three spoons.

As with any other travel purchase, you must shop it around. Different options have different sales at different times. I see all sorts of WDW packages advertised - but often even with these there are cheaper lodging options if you want to stay outside the Parks - so there is also personal preferences involved here.

When we go to Orlando, the possibilities can get overwhelming - so get a glass of wine and sit by the computer and shop.

Before booking, be sure to go to www.mousesavers.com. You will find all the most of the deals out there being offered. Having been 6 times in the last 7 years (using various booking methods..sometimes direct), I can tell you that booking direct is usually not the cheapest. Enjoy!
