Best Dinner and Show combination in Vegas

We are going to be in Vegas for my wife's birthday next month, so I'm trying to decide between the best dinner and show combination. We saw Ka recently and liked it so I was thinking of going to La Reve, Mystere or Phantom (O is dark during the time we are going). I also wanted to do a good dinner beforehand, preferably at the same hotel as the show. One thing to note about dinner is that we are semi-vegetarian (fish and seafood is OK); steakhouses aren't the best choice. We have done a few good Sushi dinners recently, so I want to stay away from that. Price really isn't much an issue ($100+ per dinner is fine). We're staying at THEHotel, so we're going to be taking a taxi in any case, so location doesn't really matter. I was thinking of doing either:

Wynn - Tableau followed by La Reve
- or -
TI - Francesco's followed by Mystere.
- or -
Venetian - Zeffirino's follwoed by Phantom of the Opera

Does anyone have any advice or additional suggestions?

I did look into Lareve a couple months ago (turns out we did not go) and they actually have dinner/show packages at a couple of their restaurants. I would go for that.

Well, if it were "my" birthday I would love to go to the Venetian for dinner and see Phantom. The show is getting excellent reviews and they had a picture of the showroom in the paper about a month ago and it looks beautiful!!! Of all the restaurants and shows you mention, I have only seen Mystere, and while it was a great show, I would go see Phantom for something other than a Cirque show this time. (just my opinion in what I would prefer) :)

placeu2 - thanks for the suggestions I didn't know about the packages. It looks like I'll pass on this though, they are prix fixe dinners, which usually doesn't work well for us non meat eaters

vegasnative - thanks for the input, I am starting to lean towards phantom. We did see the full show about 15 years ago and my wife really enjoyed it. It just might be time to go see it again.

I've seen Phantom as well as all the Vegas Cirque shows. Phantom is okay but I'd rate it only a step above Zumanity and below all the other Cirque shows.

My husband and myself did the dinner combo package with Mystere and a steak house in the TI casino. I was not a huge fan of Mystere and dinner was o.k. not fabulous. Through process of elimination I would not choose that combo. I can't say anything about the others you mention. We did see LOVE and it was fabulous.

I don't know enough about restaurants to comment, but my husband and I went to see Love for his 40th birthday in September and we (and the 5 friends who joined us) absolutely loved it. I've never been to a Cirque show, and other reviews suggest it is a bit different from the norm, but I highly recommend it, esp. if you like the Beatles.
Have fun!
