best dining in las vegas near Bellagio

I want to surprise my hubby with an unbelievable dinner. I have heard about Prime and Circ. What do you think. Anything else out there?

Either 2 are great but I would also consider Picasso before Prime.

My husband and I went to a small intimate, WONDERFUL restaurant called "Michaels" for our anniversary. It was so romantic, very small with great food and personalized service. It is very pretty inside as well and was perfect for our anniversary. It was not cheap though!
Michaels is inside the Barbary Coast Casino on the corner of Flamingo and LV Blvd.

I thought Cirque was over-rated and I'd try somewhere else. Unfortunately, I didn't eat anywhere else close to the Bellagio.

I think Picasso is overrated. If you like seafood, Aqua is really wonderful. They have a great tasting menu and wine pairings.

The only restaurant being suggested that I've eaten in is Michaels. It is excellent and wins many awards for top this or top that. (who's the food critic that starts with a "Z"??...he loves it) It was a memorable evening when I ate there once while at a convention. Small and intimate, huge portions, beautiful stained glass ceiling, delicious food. Yes, it is pricey but really to die for! Lisa

Aqua in the Bellagio. Picasso was good, but Aqua wins hands down.

French place, Andres, in the Monte Carlo is also good.

I absolutely loved Prime! Of course you can visit a fantastic steak house in any city, but Prime was really incredible. The do a fantastic raw bar appetizer where they bring out Lobster, Crab, Oysters, Shrimp, Clams and all different types of sauces. The filets were the best we have ever had. The best part of eating there, is being able to take your dessert/coffe out to the balcony and watching water show. Aqua was also fantastic!!!

I thought Prime was the most beautifully designed restaurant I've ever seen but we didn't eat there. We did eat at Renoir and loved it.
