Best crab cake & hard shell crab in Baltimore
 

Hi there, I just need some restaurant recommendations for crab cake near Inner Habor area (walking distance). I know Faidley's crab cake in Lexington Market is among the best and so is Obrycki's. But I heard that Obrycki is not open until March. So, where else can I get some good crab cakes & hard shell crabs in a sit-down restaurant?

There's always Phillips right in the inner harbor

It's a little farther than walking distance, but LP Steamers in Locust Point has great crabs and other seafood. There's also Bo Brooks in Fells Point/Canton

You could take the water taxi to Fells Point. I heard the Fells Point Market has a good one. And there's some restaurants in the neighborhood but I can't recall any names. be sure to check chowhound.com.

Stay away from Phillips--not very good.
