best college town for family

I'll put a vote in for Gainesville, Florida. Once you get beyond the core area around UF there are even more beautiful areas to live. I absolutely adore the Harn Museum of Cont. Art on the campus and Gainesville is a realtively close drive to St. Augustine and Jacksonville and two hours from Tampa.
