Best City to celebrate a 30th birthday
Any suggestion for the best place to go for a long weekend and celebrate a 30th b-day. People will be coming from DC, NY, CHicago, Austin and Houston to celebrate so all those cities are out. Also, have already done the Vegas and New Orleans for other people 30th.
THANKS!

What time of year is the 30th birthday? All women? All men? A coed party? Any special interests that you enjoy doing together?
Mine was Paris. How about somewhere warm, Miami?
It is going to be a mix of women and men (all friends of the birthday girl) and we always celebrate 30th birthday with a weekend trips that have always been a blast and want another great place. Want somewhere that has good nightlife and it will be in May.

Key West!
Did San Juan for mine. Had a bit of everything - beach, gambling, nightlife, food.
Cancun.
I can't imagine a better place than New Orleans for your event. My 30th was there and it was SOOOO much fun.
Mabye Lake Tahoe, kinda like Vegas, but with water sports and potential skiing.
I spent my 30th in San Francisco. Went to Sausalito to the Hotel Alta Mira for lunch which was great. Next day took a drive to Carmel...beautiful. Have a great birthday !

South Beach, Miami
Key West!
Thanks the the replies. Have already celebrated other 30th b-day of people who are going in vegas and new orleans and not sure about florida. Any other suggestion. Location must be fun (good nightlife) and some things to do during the day.
Thanks
I am thinking LA or Seattle.
Thanks, LA is out cause all have been there or go for work alot. Seattle as well, most have already done that scene.
Thanks!
San Francisco. If it still running, take the "Wine Train" tour through Napa and catch a Giants game at PAC-Bell.
Would it be too hot in Palm Springs in May? Some great places with great pools, lots of golf and tennis and yummy restaurants.
Jean, you didn't seem to go for San Fran, which would be my first choice. What about Montreal, that is very exciting, lots of nightlife, and very affordable! Plus it feels like a quickie trip to Europe!
What about Beale Street in Memphis - Home of the Blues? Never been there personally, but contemplating it.
