Carmen's in Lincoln Park and Evanston. The stuffed spinach is divine! More cheese than is fathomable. It's about 1.5" thick, cheese and spinach inside, dough on top and bottom, and tomato sauce on the top of the dough. You can buy it pre-cooked then frozen for air travel too!

Forget the big chains. The best pizza in Chicago is Pequod's. http://www.pequodspizza.com/ They carmalize the crust and are heavy on the ingredients to make it amazing.
You can take the Blue Line from O'Hare, take the Fullerton bus east to Clyborne, and walk 2 blocks south to Webster. It's worth it. |
Chicago is not just deep dish pizza.
The best pizza in Chicago is not deep dish pizza, IMHO. Best to one, is certainly not best to another. Thin, thin crispy crust pizza in at least 5 to 10 places in Chicagoland (and NOT downtown) is better than most of the "best" of other places that are "famous" for thin crust pizza. |
woody, don't forget to get a Pepsi with your fries

Which is the Lou Malnati's location closest to the Hilton Palmer House? How far would it be?
Thanks. |
