Best buffet in Las vegas
 

The Aladin is the best buffet in Las Vegas. Not the cheepest but best quality, highly recommended.

Have you ever tried the Bellagio or the Paris for crepes in the morning buffet?

Personal opinion but I wasn't overly impressed with the Paris Buffet for Breakfast. Take the $11.95 and go to one of the other small places in Paris and you will get a much better meal for a much smaller price.

Oops! Having said that, we went to the Bellagio on a Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet that was wonderful. Haven't tried their regular breakfast buffet.

I too loved the breakfast buffet at the Paris! Well worth the $.

My vote is Paris Buffet (dinner..never had breakfast). <BR>I've eaten at Bellagio a couple of times. It was good but I still prefer Paris!

I think the Mirage has a great buffet for variety and price.

Tom,<BR><BR>It's often suggested that you bring your own "lobster crackers" (I don't know what they're called, but the metal things that you break open shell fish like lobster and crab legs with).<BR><BR>Many hotels do NOT supply them (intentionally) so that after the first few people don't feel like cracking them is worth the trouble. There is no problem brining your own.<BR><BR>For breakfast, Paris is rated best (not cheap by buffet standards) and The Orleans is known to be a great value for breakfast (2 for 1 coupons sometimes available)<BR><BR>Get the MGM Fun Book (often handed out when departing from the monorail) which has a 2 for 1 to their buffet (not the best, but not the worst, but a great deal w/ the 2 for 1 coupon).<BR><BR>I'd ask around which hotels have PEELED shrimp on their buffet, as if they're not peeled, they ain't worth the trouble. Mirage has a good buffet (shrimp only used to be on Fridays, but don't know if that's changed).<BR><BR>Alladin is also known to be an "all-around" good buffet.

Tom, you can find all those items in large quantities at the Mirage. The have a very nice buffet. The buffet at treasure island if very similar but without the crab legs and it's a couple of dollars less.

I'd say it would have to be the Bellagio. They have the biggest and newest steamtables so the typical day old overcooked food sitting in a steam table for hours is at least being better heated than most. Why do people rave about buffets when nothing is prepared to order and everything has been advance prepared? Why not just stock up at the grocery and microwave everything to death? Oh, yea, I forgot, the big attraction -- you get to stuff yourself with too much food so you feel you've gotten something for nothing. I guess that makes it worth it.
