Best Breakfast Buffet in Las Vegas?
Anyone have a suggestion for the best breakfast buffet in Vegas... especially best value.
|
What do you mean by "best buffet"? Are you looking for quality of the food, or just seeing how much food you can cram onto your plate and then into your mouth like most buffet-goers? There is no such thing as a buffet with really good food, so I suspect you are simply looking to see how much you can get for the least amount of money. Just go to the tackiest hotel on the strip -- that's where it will probably be the cheapest and you will be the happiest.

If you don't know go to the closest place....they are all the same after 2 Bloody Marys.
|
For those who like buffets, Paris' is universally regarded as the best.
But it isn't especially cheap.
|
Aladdin's is great, especially the Sunday Brunch ($16.99), a decent value since it includes champagne and bloody marys. Fresh squeezed orange juice too.
|
to "xxx",
Kellir is most likely not saying buffet food is the best type of food in the world, but just asking where the "best" is. Any yes, there are some excellent buffets out there, maybe not necessarily in Las Vegas.
|
Paris buffet is the best BREAKFAST buffet.
But not the best buffet overall.
|
Paris looked good but when we went to try and dine there it was a TOTAL MOB! We ended up at the Allidin which was quite tasty.
|
The Paris - if you get there early there is no wait, before 9:00
|
Before 9 AM? Ouch my eyes don't even open until at least 10am in Las Vegas!

When I hit a large slot jackpot at the Bellaggio in November, they sent up (we were staying there 2 nights) a beautiful cart with our own private buffet the next morning. I didn't ask for it and the rooms were comped. I spent $6 when I hit for $10,000.
My husband doesn't gamble at all, so they really took care of us.
|
And do you know why they did that?
Because people who hit big jackpots are either 1)regular players who spend a lot of total $$ in the casino, or 2)people who become big players after winning when the casino makes them feel like they're special.
That's what comps are all about.
Making a player feel special so they'll feel like the casino is their 'friend' and that the casino values them as a customer.
The casino blows $40 for a comped room at Bellagio (hotel's overhead) and $15 on some food.
They have reams of data showing that if they make that kind of investment in the gambler, the gambler will end up dumping 5 times more back into the casino.

Remember, nothing is free. Even comps.
If the casino was losing money on comps, they wouldn't be comping in the first place.
|
Actually, it was our first time in a casino. My friend dances in a show on the strip and has a friend who got us the room. I live on the East Coast and don't even plan on going to the casinos to gamble again. I said I would bet $10 and after playing $6 (2 pulls) I won the jackpot. I guess I am just the lucky one who knows it was a fluke and does not feel the need to keep trying.
|
For a cheap buffet that is also good, my family likes the one at Main Street Station in downtown. It will not compare to Paris or Bellagio, but for the money (I think it is $8 or $9) it is a good value and you will find a large variety to suit every taste.

My husband and I found the buffet breakfast at the Gold Coast for $2.99 plus tax to be the best value. There's a big selection, including Chinese, Mexican, and Italian dishes to choose from. Gold Coast is located next to Rio Suites off the strip.
