Best Big Island Burger?
 

What's the best place on the Big Island to grab a burger? My family always loves to have the name of a local burger joint to visit.<BR><BR>We're staying on the Kohala Coast, so any favorites nearby would be excellent.<BR><BR>Thanks for your recommendations!

More for the view than the food (it's good too) try Jakes (used to be Durty Jakes) on Ali'i just across from the ocean. It's in Kona so a bit of a drive for you. As an alternative you may try Waimea such as the Koa House

Actually, if you're going to drive all the way to Kona, I think the Hard Rock has the best view because you're up on the 2nd level looking out over the water. Their burgers are pretty good too!

I have to agree with Betty. I was reluctant to post at first, thinking I must not have good info. But we love burgers, and the love burgers at the Hard Rock. The one in Kona is great. Get their early enough to sit upstairs at sunset. Nice view!!
