Spring of 2014, I will be taking a trip to Nashville with a groups of women for a Bachelorette Party. I am looking for fun and unique things to do while we are there. It will be a weekend trip most likely in April with about 5-8 women. I’m interested in Bed and Breakfast accommodations, music festivals or venues, and some tourist ideas. Keep in mind, we are all 30+ and not necessarily looking to do the stereotypical tiara and penis straw activities. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

How about the Grand Ole Opry for music? You will also find lots of interesting music venues in the area downtown around the Ryman Auditorium. Tootsies is a great traditional music place. If you like history, the Hermitage is a neat place to visit.

If you're not easily offended ... NashTrash Tours. Hilarious--but not for those who blush easily! FYI, it sells out far in advance. Be sure to book it more than a month before the trip. And ... eat at Monell's (the original location -- across from the Bicentennial Mall). It's a unique, very special experience. But I'm not sure if it can compete with a penis straw ;-).

When you are in the area you guys should visit the Middle Tennessee wineries. There are several wineries just south of Nashville; Amber Falls Winery & Cellars, Arrington Vineyards, Grinders Switch Winery, Keg Springs & Natchez Hills Vineyard. They all offer FREE TASTINGS on a daily basis (except Keg Springs is closed on Mon & Tues), Natchez Hills offers vineyard & winery tours and there is FREE & ticketed events offered almost on a regular basis. Check them out!

Wildhorse would definitely get my vote as well. I also love Arrington Vineyards! Cheekwood Botanical Garden is beautiful that time of year. Make sure to stop by the Country Music Hall of Fame. Also, see who is playing that week! There are tons of great venues for live music. Catch a show at the Opry if you can!
West End has some great shopping. Be sure to pop in all the shops and Honky Tonks on Broadway (it's a street). Mike's Ice Cream is not to be missed!
Starline tours will take you to see all the stars' homes and the NashTrash tours are popular as well.
The Hutton hotel is an upscale boutique hotel with a free shuttle, or Opryland is really nice.
