Thanks for the laugh!

BTW, AAFF, just read your trip report. That was great!

nytraveler Mar 13th, 2004 04:08 PM

I just love the thought of all those gigantic doctors suing a hospital.

"I know this has nothing to do with travel" ....

You singlehandedly point out what is wrong with the Fodors forums.

jetset1 Mar 13th, 2004 04:50 PM

Hey, thanks! I enjoyed "How much should I tip the Pilot", and these are funny too. I say any of these posts are okay, much better than the mean spirited posters attacking others' grammar or innocent queries.. keep the humor coming. We can all use the laughs:)

sneezey Mar 13th, 2004 05:14 PM

Jetset1 - no one cares what you (or I) want. It's about what's on topic and for or against the rules. The post is reported to the editors and it'll probably be about an hour or two before it's history.

jetset1 Mar 13th, 2004 05:58 PM

Gee sneezey, buy some Airborne and mellow out. No need to worry about things, unless you have the role of Fodor's editor. Hostility won't win many debates here, btw.

P.S. At first glance, the hair removal post may not have seemed apropo either, but just think of the improved aesthetics at the beach, pool, etc, lol. Plus, it garnered about 40 replies. The "tipping the pilot" post had well over 150 as well. I don't think Fodor's gets too worked up over these harmless ones. Civility is still a nice thing to practice in 2004.

Ok, how about - I enjoy buying local newspapers as I travel and looking for amusing headlines. I bet these headlines come from many interesting and far away places.

There. Now it's travel related.

Funny stuff AA. Thanks for posting them.

Nothing I like more then a good giggle in the middle of the night. Since hubby is sleeping guess this will do.

LOL

travelinwifey Mar 14th, 2004 10:57 AM

AAFrequentFlyer, do you have a reference for this? Newspaper article or something? Hubby likes to include funny comments in his business speeches. Thanks!

AAFrequentFlyer Mar 14th, 2004 12:39 PM

No, can't help you there. A friend actually e-mailed this to me. (Actua) could have different meanings. Sorry! :-)

AAFrequentFlyer Mar 14th, 2004 12:41 PM

But I do have a great site for some weird stories.

Thanks much. I just read some more of those funny headlines last week- too bad I threw the magazine away.
