Is this the Benjamin that's part of the Manhattan East Suites?

You can't beat the location, Lexington Avenue and 50th Street. Along hotel row with the Waldorf, W, Marriott, Intercontinential, Metropolitan, etc. One of the best midtown locations. Not familar with the rooms, but the hotel was gut renovated a couple of years ago, from top to bottom, and the lobby looks real nice. It also houses An American Place restaurant, which gets top reviews.

I recently stayed in one of the others in this group and was very happy with the room. The suites are huge and you get a kitchette. Housekeeping does your dishes and will even stock the fridge if you request it (I'm sure for a considerable price!) I thought the room could have been a little cleaner, <BR>but my friends told me I'm too fussy - they thought it was great. Check for specials, we got a good price on a one bedroom suite just a few weeks ago.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Benjamin last Thanksgiving. Wonderful location, room was very nice with a terrace looking up and down Lexington.Staff was professional in every way. We have stayed at all three properties on this block - The Benjamin ranks at the top.
