belvedere hotel?

Does anyone have any info the Belvedere Hotel on W. 48th ST. I'll be staying in late Jan. with my 14 yr. old daughter (celebrating her birthday). Her first visit to NY. Don't plan to stay in hotel much as we will be sightseeing but want a clean and safe room at an economical price.

From a lot of posts on this hotel, I would think you have described it accurately. It's clean; it's safe; and it's economical. Don't expect any frills.

This hotel was very convenient to the theater district and resturants. It had a refrigerator, mircrowave and extra sink, making it easy to have snacks in the room. The bath was very small and there are not enough electrical outlets in the room. Other than that we were satisfied with the room.

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed at the Belvedere in July. Location was very convenient, room was comfortable and it was nice to have the refrigerator and microwave for heating up leftovers. The staff was very helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Belvedere with 3 other women, had a blast in NYC. Ditto to Sabrina and Kim's post, my reply exactly but overall I would stay there again. We paid $139. for two double beds, 4 people and that was before prices started declining cause of 9/11.
