Bellagio Spa
Spending 4 nites at the Bellagio over Thanksgiving and would like to surprise my wife with a spa treatment. However, being a complete novice about spas and their various therapies and services, I'm looking for some help from you experts. So all of you out there who have had Bellagio spa experiences, what would you recommend?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks..... |
the spa is lovely but some of the amenities are very expensive.$80.00 for a manicure.Check out their packages.I heard that the venetian across the street has an amazing spa as well.

I will second the recomendation about the Venetian Spa! I may stay anywhere but I run to the Venetian for their spa. Last time I took my husband and he had a blast climbing their rock climber's wall and then he used the gym, jacuzzi etc while I had my massage. Afterwards we had lunch downstairs in the Grand Luxe Cafe (close relative of the Cheesecake Factory) Yum!
PS as to the type of massage-I've not tried it but everyone is raving about the warm stone massage. I usually go for a deep tissue one to really work out the kinks! |
Thanks for the replys. I may have to check out the Venetian spa.
And, Compumom, I also appreciate your advice on the type of massage. If there are others of you out there who haven't specifically been to the Bellagio Spa but have recommendations on the type of treatment to surprise her with, that would be welcome as well. Thanks..... |
Ah, the Bellagio Spa, one of my favorite places. If you are staying at the Bellagio, do take advantage of their spa. I have had swedish massages (Ahhhhh), and European facials there. I have also worked out in the gym part, which actually does leave something to be desired from a space and layout perspective (could be larger _ I think it will be once the renovations are done). The spa has two sides - one for women and one for men (obviously). You check in and they give you a robe, locker and shoes. There are showers with and changing areas with all the amenities, there are 4 hot whirlpool tubs and a cold plunge, as well as the various treatment showers. Attendants walk around constantly offering fruit and beverages (juice, fruit water, and my favorite - smoothies). My advice, since the spa is only opened to Bellagio guests, if you are staying there, you should go to it.

The Bellagio spa is wonderful but pricey! The Venetian has a great spa called The Canyon Ranch but truly there is nothing better than visiting the spa in your own wonderful hotel. I suggest a massage and then maybe a hair style and makeup before you go see a show. This way she can have a massage then get cleaned up and come back to the room in a robe. Have fun what a great idea.

I have been to the Spa at the Bellagio and also have had a manicure. Both are lovely and they treat you very well.
