Bellagio pool access
 

I usually stay at the Bellagio--but since our hotel room is being paid by my husband's company we will be staying at Paris this year. My question is--wiil it be difficutlt for me to use the Bellagio pool which is vastly superior to the Paris hotel pool. What do I need to do to get in.

What do you need to get in?
An active room key card.
You can't even walk around the Bellagio pool without an active key.
The pools in Las Vegas get so crowded that the hotels with better pools have gotten very strict about stopping pool crashers.

Will it be difficult? Yes....unless you decide to book a room at the Bellagio or find a generous guest there who will sacrifice his/her swimming opportunities and give you his/her key.

Forget trying to use their pool. You have to show a room key to get access. Besides, if you've ever tried to use their pool, you know how crowded it can get. When you go back and stay their again, how'd you feel is Paris guests took the last decent chair?

Perhaps you might explore a Plan B. I had a reason to be in Vegas on business for meetings at the Venetian a few years ago. However, my wife and I had the ability to get a Penthouse Suite at the Bellagio for $499. The conference rate at Venetian was something like $150 a night. I charged back the $150 to my company and paid the difference out of my pocket. I cleared it with my boss ahead of time and they didn't care because it wasn't costing them anything different for one versus the other.

I once stayed at the Mandalay Bay with its awesome pool. But could not find a chair until a family was kicked out of the area apparently they did not like their pool at thier small hotel. I was so offened I paid 150.00 for my room and they thought they could use the pool for free.

Yes it will be difficult to use the pool as it should be, it is for paying customers.

Hah - if you really did, you would know the policies re the pool and the facilities.

From time to time these posts come up and should really be titled, "HELP! - I Am Staying at El Rauncho Grande But Want to Get Five Star Services Without Paying."

Over on the Caribbean board, it's "How Can I Use the Facilities at an All Inclusive Without Paying?"
