Bellagio Closed = So-So Vacation
Missed out Seeing "O" (had Tickets since November)
Missed Out on our reservations at Circo and Olives
Missed out on seeing the Fountains
Missed out on the Monet exhibition
Missed out on the Easter Brunch
Other than that, we had a pretty good time!

Very disappointing indeed.
Others have posted that since you were at Bellagio you are 'pampered and spoiled' and that the power failure was a good reality check so you can understand what life is like for 'average folks'.
In fact, you are a prime example of someone who spent a lot of time planning trying to make your stay extra special, only to have it sabotaged.
Have they offered any compensation yet?

My comments were on pampered whiners who were staying at the hotel at the time and were seen on the news, acting as if unforseen disasters should only happen to others. Didn't mean to imply that everyone who stays at the hotel falls into that category.

From what I've heard those staying at the hotel were moved to the Mirage and refunded their $$ (Mirage stay is free) and were given food allowences. This is what was reported on the news, I'm curious as to what the patrons say happened.

My son and his wife just returned. They were moved to Bally's. He said that where you were placed was determined by how many nights you had left on your. The more nights left, the nicer the place. They had had only one night left. I'm pretty sure they were given full refunds.
