Beijing Bound

I'm leaving on a jetplane this Monday. Any last minute suggestions as to where to eat and shop while in Beijing?

Also, what should I pack that I will not be able to find in China?

Have a wonderful time!!! Bring Aspirin and things like that because not many Western style drugstores.

For Western style aspirin, cold rememdies, etc, try and find a WATSONs, a British run drug store. Usually located in/near the better hotels.

I just returned from the area in and around Shanghai
Bring imodium AD!... other than that, be prepared to be awed by the "Jetson" like building that is going on all over China! Capitalism is running rabid in China!
