Check out www.kimptondchotels.com. My choice would be either Monaco or Madera. Monaco is in Chinatown - steps from new Spy Museum, incredible dining at Zaytinya, and great beer at RFD...among other things. Madera is another great location -- Dupont Circle-ish, and has a fantastic restaurant (Firefly) to boot.

Hotel Helix or Hotel Rouge, both near Logan Circle.

There are two Jurys in Dupont Circle area. One is close to Metro, other, which I like better, is Jurys Normandy at 2118 Wyoming NW. It is near the embassies and about 5 blocks from Metro.

Dupont at the Circle. This is a lovely B&B. Check in the topics box. There have been other posts about it.

The Swann House at DuPont Circle. Gorgeous historic building, good location, incredible breakfast!
