I have been reviewing the Hawaii message board for several months. My wife and I are going to Hawaii 09/14 - 09/28. We will split our time between Maui and Kauai. One thing I have noticed is that most posts talk about staying in resorts and not any B&B's. Why is that? Are there any B&B's that anyone you would recommend for either island? Thanks.

My husband and I stayed at Glorias B & B on Kauai in April - it was absolutely wonderful. Only 3 rooms, all overlooking the ocean - the sound of the waves at night is heavenly and worth every penny. Gloria is a wonderful hostess. Check it out at http://www.gloriasbedandbreakfast.com/.

I would agree with the "Gloria's" recommendation. Best beach on Kauai.
