beaver creek/pines lodge or inn at beaver creek?

Which property is nicer, better location?
Or should we try for a condo?

Both are deluxe properties. That said, the Inn has a much better location. Walk out the door, cross the street and you're in the heart of the village. The Pines in on the hillside. Great views, but you'd pretty much have to shuttle down the hill into the village. Both are beautiful properties.

I agree, both are nice. If you are looking for condos, take a look at vailonsale.com They have a pretty extensive listing. It should help you get an idea of what is around. We were in B/C last year and stayed at the Charter, which was excellent. Don't rent a car if you can help it. We flew into Eagle and took an inexpensive taxi service, HIgh Mountain Taxi. We just booked through their site, which I think was hmtaxi.com

enjoy your trip.

Regarding the car - I think you are coming in the summer. If so, a car is helpful as you'll want to drive to sightsee and check out the area.

If you're coming in the winter and just planning on skiing/riding, a car is not necessary.

I agree with Blyvail - we were just in Vail for six nights and I think a car is a must. It would be different in the winter.

We LOVED the area.
