Can anyone suggest a couple of "moderate" (less than $250) condos to stay at?<BR><BR>It appears that Avon is cheaper than Beaver Creek village - not sure how far it is to the village area and if it is walkable?<BR><BR>We are tentatively looking at Arrowhead condos and Townsend (?sp) condos.

You cannot walk from Avon to Beaver Creek, it is a short drive if you have a car. I'm not familiar with shuttle service from Avon to Beaver Creek, but maybe there is. I have used Vail.net, FRBO.com and Prudential Gore Range properties to secure lodging in this area.

There is a free shuttle which runs frequently between Avon and Beaver Creek - every 15 minutes or so.
